Buying a Static Caravan
The most important step in buying a caravan in Mid Wales is finding the right park. Parks vary from quiet country parks with no clubs like Tanat Holiday Park to large parks which host a number of activities. Tanat Holiday Park offers peace and tranquillity and a chance to get away from it all situated in a secluded position surrounded by countryside.
How large is the Park
We currently have 140 static holiday home pitches.
What facilities to you have on the park?
We have a children’s play area, recreational areas for dog walking, exclusive fishing rights on the River Tanat and a launderette. There is no club or swimming pool on site but these facilities are not too far from the park if you want them.
What contract will you allow me?
As members of the BH&HPA, we offer an annual agreement, renewed each season.
How long can I keep my holiday home on Tanat Holiday Park?
We have no upgrade rules. All we ask is that you keep your holiday home in a clean and tidy condition and abide by our site rules.
How long is the season?
The park is open 1st March to 30th November and during this time you can holiday in your caravan whenever you wish.
Can I live in my holiday home on the park and make it my main residence?
This is something we are very strict about. Your caravan can only be used for holiday and recreational purposes only.
Can I sublet my holiday home?
Tanat Holiday Park does not allow commercial subletting; however friends and family may use your holiday home if agreeable by the park. We believe this maintains the security and the sense of community on the park.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. Some of our holiday home owners have a caravan for this reason only as it allows them to holiday with their pets. However, we do reserve the right to refuse certain dangerous breeds and we ask that all pets are kept under control at all times.
Do you do finance?
We can assist in arranging finance through Salop Leisure of Shrewsbury. Please ask for more details.
